BreakAway from the ordinary! BreakAway is a volunteer organization that travels during breaks to help others in need. BreakAway's members are dedicated to lifelong active citizenship. After a BreakAway experience, participating students truly represent BreakAway’s mission statement: By contributing to experiential learning activities that serve others, Millikin’s BreakAway members promote self-awareness and respect for diversity, and become civic-minded individuals who are conscious of social issues and the need to act on them.
