Requirements to Participate
Get fitted for your cap and gown
The easiest way to get fitted for your cap and gown is to stop by the Grad Fair in lower RTUC (East Room) on Wednesday, October 15, between 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. A table will be set up where all measurements will be taken. If you are not able to attend the Grad Fair or if you have any questions, contact Glenda Suits at gsuits@millikin.edu or at 217.424.6217. She is located in the Registrar's office.
Pick up your Commencement tickets/Caps and Gowns
FOR TRADITIONAL STUDENTS
Students may pickup their caps and gowns, and tickets (10 per graduate), from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on December 2 and 3 in Shilling Hall, room 209. To pick up your items, you must have completed the online Graduating Student Survey and turn in your Questionnaire for Alumni Records.
FOR PACE STUDENTS:
Caps/gowns and Commencement tickets (10 per graduate) will be available for PACE students in the PACE Office (Shilling Hall, room 204) from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. beginning on Monday, December 1.. To pick up your items, you must have completed the online Graduating Student Survey and turn in your Questionnaire for Alumni Records.
FOR MSN STUDENTS:
Caps /gowns and Commencement tickets, 10 per graduate, will be available for MSN students in the Nursing Office (Leighty/Tabor, room 101) from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. beginning on Monday, December 1. To pick up your items, you must turn in your Questionnaire for Alumni Records.
Complete all requirements for your degree as listed in your catalogue
If you are questioning your eligibility to graduate, contact the Registrar's Office at 217.424.6217.
Settle all accounts with the Student Service Center, including a $35 graduation fee.
Questions about your account may be directed to Carol Risby (crisby@millikin.edu ) in the Student Service Center or 217.424.6317. All accounts must be settled by December 1.
Commencement Rehearsal
For ALL Graduates:
Rehearsal is on Wednesday, December 10 at 6 p.m. in Kirkland Fine Arts Center.
