At Millikin University, Early Childhood Education majors receive a thorough education in providing the youngest students with stimulating, developmentally and educationally appropriate activities. Early Childhood Education majors can prepare and get certification specifically for teaching children in grades 3 and under in preschool, daycare and early elementary school settings. The letter of approval qualifies you to teach in inclusive settings.
Traditional students and adult PACE students can earn a B.A. or B.S. in Early Childhood Education. Internships and study abroad help widen horizons, allowing our graduates to better understand the importance of their field.
