Direction
Goal Setting
Exploratory Studies students
should engage in continuous goal setting that incorporates personal
assessment and discovery. Regardless of where they are at in the
decision-making progress, all Exploratory Studies students should
develop short-term and long-term goals.

Faculty Mentoring for
Exploratory Students
In order to facilitate
informed decision making regarding choice of major, the Academic
Development Office has developed a Faculty Mentoring Program for
exploratory students. Exploratory students are paired with faculty
within their academic areas of interest. In this way, faculty mentors
provide exploratory students with:
- Avenues for academic and career exploration.
- Connections to the academic community.
- Role models for academic success.
- Resources during academic difficulty.
