What you may be facing as a residential student Roommate Conflicts If you are interested in making a room change due to a roommate conflict, you must participate in a roommate mediation prior to being considered for a change. Your RA can help you navigate the mediation process. For a roommate contract, click here. The Office of Residence Life does not permit room changes based upon convenience or based upon race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, or other diversity characteristics. We operate under the model of helping our residents learn about others and mediate conflict effectively. Most roommate issues can be worked out with the proper effort. FINALS ARE COMING! We hope everyone had an enjoyable Thanksgiving Break and is ready for the academic pursuits ahead. Here are a few reminders about housing: On December 1, 2008 the Fall 2008 Resident Satisfaction Survey will be available. Click here to give us your feedback about your residential experience at Millikin! Extended, 24 hour Quiet Hours will begin on Tuesday December 9th at 10pm. Please respect your community during finals! Check out for Holiday Break will be 5pm on Tuesday, December 16th or after your last final, whichever is earlier. Please sign up 24 hours in advance to check out with your RA/CA. Housing will re-open at 12noon on Sunday, January 11th for all students.
