Urbania is a beautiful medieval city located in Le Marche region of Italy, between the Adriatic Sea and Tuscany, with a population of about 6,600. With  breathtaking landscapes, a mild climate and hospitable people, Urbania is a wonderful place for intensive music, language and culture study.

Millikin University offers both full semester study and intensive summer programs in Urbania.  The semester program is focused on Italian language study, while the summer program combines language and music, at a language school that is connected with what you do artistically.

Millikin students interested in intensive Italian language study may spend a semester in Urbania taking 12 credit hours of Italian at Centro Studi Italiani and living with an Italian family. Additional credits for independent study may be arranged. 

You apply through the Millikin Director of International Programs to attend Centro Studi Italiani.
