Millikin email into infinity! Thanks to the class gift of the 2008 graduates, Millikin graduates can maintain their Millikin email account forever! This will allow graduates to stay informed about Millikin, communicate easily with fellow students and graduates, and allow Millikin staff to communicate with our alumni. And for those of you who don’t want to manage a Millikin address along with your personal email accounts, you can forward the Millikin email to your personal email address and read all your mail from one site. Classes of 2007 and 2008 will keep their email address and earlier graduates will be able to request a lifelong Millikin email address.

PACE Models Needed. In mid-July, the PACE department will be taking professional pictures of students and faculty to use in various marketing and promotional materials. On July 15 & 16, all PACE students and PACE alumni are encouraged to come to Shilling Hall between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. to have an individual head and body shot taken (business casual dress preferred). Later that week, we will be working on small group shots for specific majors. IIf you would be available during the day or early evening and would like to smile for the camera, please contact Gail at gcrookshank@millikin.edu.
DISC/Kirkland. PACE students may choose to pay an optional flat fee of $50 per semester to the Student Services Center to have unlimited use of the Decatur Indoor Sports Center (DISC) and one free ticket to each Kirkland “Series “ Event (approximately five per semester). Students can pick up their tickets for Kirkland events at the box office when tickets go on sale. Additional tickets may be purchased at the student price.
Multicultural/Diversity Resources. There is a resource library available to all students in the Center of Multicultural Student Affairs Suite in lower RTUC. Many of the resource materials available are not offered through the Staley Library. The library is open Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., but students needing access after 5:00 p.m. can contact Latrina Denson or Pej Clark at 362-6477 to make other arrangements.
Multicultural Mentors needed. Interested in a mentoring relationship with a traditional student? The Center for Multicultural Student Affairs (CMSA) is exploring to see if there is an interest. Many of the traditional students would appreciate an occasional guiding hand from an older, more experienced person. If you would like to learn more about this, email Latrina at ldenson@millikin.edu.
Remember to mark your calendars for Fall Family Weekend and Homecoming Week events. Watch for more infrmation on a PACE-sponsored Homecoming activity for the whole family.

Marketing Your PACE Degree
For education, nursing, criminal justice, and accounting majors the path to a career is very clear; your degree specifically prepares you for the careers associated with your major, though you can do something else with your degree if you choose to do so.
