2008-2009 RAAA Awards
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the annual Research & Artistic Achievement Award for 2008. We had many excellent research applications submitted for review. Based on a review of the applications, the following faculty have been selected as recipients of the Research & Artistic Achievement Award for 2008:
Dr. George Bennett, Associate Professor of Chemistry
Brian Justison, Associate Professor of Music
Dr. Tom McQuistion, Professor of Biology
Dr. Mark Munoz, Associate Professor of International Management
Dr. James Rauff, Professor of Mathematics
Dr. Marianne Robertson, Professor of Biology
This award recognizes that these Millikin faculty have established an outstanding program of research and artistic achievement that demonstrates an ongoing (1) exploration of new territory—(2) an engagement over time (3) resulting in a product, performance or text (4) that is recognized or valued as excellent by peers (5) as a contribution to the field (6) and to Millikin and its students.
The Research & Artistic Achievement Award award includes a $1,000 one-time merit stpiend.
